Tarom cancels flights from Bucharest to Chisinau, Cluj and Timisoara due to severe weather


National Airline Tarom cancelled on Wednesday, due to inclement weather conditions, the following flights: 201/202 Bucharest – Chisinau – Bucharest, 603/604 Bucharest – Timisoara – Bucharest and 643/644 Bucharest – Cluj Napoca – Bucharest, the passengers being due for boarding today, on the following flights to the same destinations, according to a press release of the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB).

”On the Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport and the Aurel Vlaicu Bucuresti Baneasa International Airport, air traffic is running in winter conditions. Take-offs and landings are conducted in full safety. Some flights registered delays on take-off, determined by the need to deice the aircraft,” the company’s representatives say, according to Agerpres.

On both airports procedures are being conducted to ensure the runways, taxiways and ramps are open, operational and conditions for complete safety of air operations are maintained. The Bucharest Airports National Company recommends passengers to take the necessary measures to come in due time at the airport.
