Vodafone Romania appoints Florin Petrescu as HR Director and a member of the executive management team, effective June 6, 2016. Florin Petrescu is now the HR Director of Citibank for a cluster of countries made of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, with a total of 4,000 employees.
He has worked for Citi for 16 years, during which he held several coordination roles in human resources on a national and regional level, both in the company’s offices in Romania and UK, as well as in other countries. From his position, he led Citi Russia to win the best employer distinction for two years in a row. He has a master’s degree in International HR Management at Cranfield School of Management in UK.
Florin Petrescu replaces Arun Krishnamurthy, whose mandate as Vodafone Romania’s HR Director ends on July 1st, 2016. Arun Krishnamurthy held this position since July 2013 and had an important role in shaping the company’s regional structure and in preparing its new headquarters.
