Voicu Oprean, AROBS: Romania is still attractive for outsourcing

voicuThe software solutions supplier AROBS Transilvania estimates for this year an increase of approximately 25% of the business against 2015, taking into consideration the contracts signed with the new clients, as well as the increase of some of the existing projects, according to ActMedia.eu.

„ For 2016 we estimate an advance of approximately 25% of the business, taking into consideration the contracts already signed with the new clients, as well the increase of the existing projects. Romania is still an attractive market for outsourcing, so do not expect that the IT industry will have a descending trend this year’ stated Voicu Oprean, CEO AROBS Transilvania Software.

Last year, the AROBS group had a turnover of 20 million euro , more by 30% against the previous year, due to the increase of the number of projects for foreign partners, especially in the auto industry and pharma industry, as well as due to the expansion of the clients portfolio, who use the TrackGPS solution for the monitoring of the auto fleets.

The AROBS Transilvania Software was set up in 1998 and is controlled by the Cluj entrepreneur Voicu Oprean. The company had in 2014 a turnover of approximately 51.9 million lei (11,7 million euro) and an average number of 319 employees, according to the site of the ministry of public finances.
