GTS opens data centre in Cluj

gtsGTS Telecom announced the opening of its second data centre in Romania, at the Liberty Technology Park in Cluj-Napoca. The company invested an initial EUR 500,000, and this is expected to reach a total investment of EUR 1 million at the site, according to year it already spent EUR 1 million expanding its data centre in Bucharest, in response to growing demand for cloud (virtualization), disaster recovery and business continuity services. Contracts for colocation and IaaS have increased by an average 25 percent per year in the past two years.
